Colorful Blues and Browns Dumortierite Wire-Wrapped Stone Pendant Necklace
A super cool stone, this natural multi-colored piece of Dumortierite displays blues, tans and browns. I kept the design simple to highlight the stone's natural beauty.
The pendant is made from 99.9% pure copper wire, bare and without any treatment or coatings.
**Because it's natural copper, you should definitely expect the wire to naturally oxidize and darken over time and for it to be darker when you receive the pendant, compared to the photographs in this listing.
This unique stone measures a little over an inch long/tall and about the same at its widest. The pendant's total height is right about 2 inches tall.
Includes a silky-satin black cord in your choice of two lengths: 18 or 24 inches, each with a 2-inch extension chain. The metal clasp and chain portions of the cord are lead- and nickel-free.
Dumortierite is an aluminum borosilicate mineral that varies in color from blue, green and brown to more rare violet and pink.
First described in 1881, the mineral was named for French paleontologist Eugene Durmortier (1803-1873).
It is believed by many to bring the wearer water energy and to promote flow, control and orderliness.
